Review: Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow 86 Garden Party.

I'm finally doing a review. Ok so this is the Chanel Quad in Garden Party. My mother has a friend working at Chanel so she always buys from Chanel to support her friend. And she actually purchased this long time ago and opened it recently only. She took one look at it and ask me if I wanted it because she felt the colors were too bright for her so yay me. Anyway, I think this was launched years ago in the spring line maybe? Please correct me if I'm wrong. So I'm gonna do a review on it. There are two pinkish shades and two green shades on the quad and I find it just really spring-ish. There's a light pink, a mint green, brownish, mauve-ish pink and lastly a forest green. The mint green and light pink are both frost and the other two shimmery. So I'm just going to talk about the pros and cons here.

PROS:
- Generally good pigmentation, very creamy, not chalky at all.
- Obviously very pretty packaging but very easily dirtied by fingerprints.
- Great range of colors. The colors are all very nice and compliment each other a lot. I can do many looks with this quad alone.
- Although the finishes are all similar, the dark pink & forest green gives a lot of depth and dimension and makes the whole quad work very well.

CONS:
- Pricey. This was $60+, I never would have bought this with my own money because I can't afford it.
- The minty green and light pink are both very frosty, there's just too much frost in the quad.
- The mauve-ish dark pink doesn't show up very well and it's not the most pigmented but definitely workable.
- I do wish the light pink look more like how it looked like in the pan. It looks a lot more peachy rather than frosty not swatched.

So this is it. I hope the review was helpful. Overall, I rate this product a 4/5 but I wouldn't repurchase it unless I had the money to because it's so pricey. I really do like it though. Once again I apologize for the horrible pictures. My camera is not fixed yet but I really wanted to do a review soon because I've been waiting so long.
