VIDZSTAR SCAM (update & how I got a refund)

Hi guys, I realised a lot of people like me, didn't clearly read the terms and conditions for the vidzstar website which resulted in us suffering the same fate. Similarly, I know a lot of you want to know how I got my refund and all that jazz. If you're reading this post, it most probably means that you're bank is now short of 49.95USD. But no worries, in this post I will show you guys how I got my refund and hopefully it'll work the same way for all of you too.

After I saw my bank statement (enraged), I tried to cancel my "subscription" immediately so as not be charged mysteriously again but to my disappointment, I realised that I couldn't cancel because they couldn't find my name in their database or something ridiculous like that. Seeing this (even more enraged), I sent them a mail. This is the exact mail I sent them.

 And then almost immediately, I received this mail from them.

One day later, which is pretty efficient in my opinion, they replied to my mail with this.

So as you can see, it was pretty straight forward and easy in my case to get my refund which is so lucky. You can email them and I think if whoever the person who is assisting you is nice, you may get your refund. I would say the first thing you should do is drop them a mail and if you're too lazy to go and check it, it's (info@vidzstar.com) I was shocked that they agreed to a refund so easily. I even wrote a mail to thank them and this is the reply I got. I thought it was pretty funny.

I think one of the reasons they were so willing to give a refund is because they received mails from scambook already so they're a bit more wary of complaints. I wrote an entry of scambook too because I was really quite pissed but all is well now.

I was looking through the photos in my computer and I realised I have so many videos I wanted to put up. Hopefully, I can edit them all nicely and put it up. Please look forward to it guys hehe.

Update 31/10/13

Happy Halloween guys!!! What are you guys going for as Halloween this year? This year I'm going to be a panda for Halloween. Not the slutty kind though, just cute and cuddly ones. Me and a bunch of my friends are all going as animals so I won't look stupid alone. Hope we'll get loads of goodies from my neighbors *sniggers*

On a more serious note, I'm going to take a study break from school just because I feel like it. I've been feeling really cooped up and stressed out so I'm just going to take a break and continue next year. I'll put these few months into good use and not waste it away because I'm determined to. So I'll have a lot more free time to blog yayyyyy *throws confetti* 🎉🎉🎉 I think from now on, once a week I'll post a review of some product. Any product in my makeup collection. (I added a matte top coat on my forth nail just for variety! It's Essie matte about you) 

Haven't posted a notw since forever so here's one!! This week I used JulieG's nail polish in Holla-Peño from the 2013 collection. You can purchase this at rite aid but I don't have one near me so I purchased mine online. You can go to the Jesses's Girl Cosmetics website to purchase it if you like (I'm singing Jessie's Girl in my head right now). 

Holla-Peño in real life is a little more milky and creamy I would say. A tinge litter than photographed in the photos as well. I tried on many occasions to get the exact color but I couldn't so this is the best I can do. I'm thinking of getting a light box for better photographs. Hmm... I think it'll be a good investment but I'm so not willing to spend the money at this point of time. Anyway, to get to the point, here is my overall opinion on the polish. 

Price: 5/5 

(Each bottle retails for 3.99 which I think is really affordable for its quality) 

Formula: 4/5 

(It is pretty good and I can get full opacity in 2 coats)

Brush: 3.5/5

(This brush is to the thin side unlike OPI's really thick and fat brush. However, I do prefer thicker brushes but it's just my personal preference. I know a lot of people enjoy thin brushes such as the ones from Essie which I really don't like. This one is pretty much in between Essie and OPI) 

Color: 5/5 

I absolutely love the color!! I think it's a pretty unique color and it shows up exactly the same as in the bottle) 

Overall: 17.5/20

I'd say you should purchase this colors if you like green because it'll be a pretty unique color in your collection. It's absolutely gorgeous in my opinion 😊

Ok sorry for that I needed a space to be sad. On a lighter note I just got back from my trip and it's pretty awesome! I love being overseas where everything is free & easy & you don't have specific plans and schedule to follow and keep to. You know the feeling you get when you know you can do whatever the hell you want OR, not do anything at all. Where you don't care if everyone else is judging you because you'll probably never ever see them again in your life and you don't know people around you? That's probably my favorite part of being overseas. I'm planning a trip for next month already so yay!

VIDZSTAR SCAM (OUTRAGED)

Update: Read my update post if you want to see how I got my refund! This may be helpful and if it's not I'm sorry I tried. Hope what I did works for you guys too.

I'm so angry now I need somewhere to vent my anger. So recently I was surfing the web trying to find somewhere where I can watch the full version of <Warm Bodies> since I missed it when it was playing in the cinema. One of the websites that popped out when I was googling was THIS HELL HOLE WEBSITE (www.vidzstar.com) Trust me guys, don't ever, ever ever go onto that website. It's a fucking scam. I'm so damn mad now I can't even. It didn't allow you to browse any of the movie or watch any of them unless you signed up for a "free" trial that is. Being the impatient person that I was, I signed up because it looked like a legit website (how dumb and naive) and I regret it so dang much.

After signing up and entering all my credit card info (shoot me now), I browsed through the horrible and pathetic selection of movies they had and no I didn't manage to find the movie I wanted to find so I just closed it immediately. Fast forward to weeks later, innocent and oblivious me checks my credit card transaction online and guess what I see? USD49.90 FUCKING DOLLARS charged to my credit card. I was like wtf is this website so I went to see what I paid 49.90 for and guess what? I paid for the free fucking trial. I'm not a vulgar person normally but this just makes me so mad. I literally paid for nothing.

I know I should've read the terms and conditions but I mean "ain't nobody got time fo dat" (gosh people are going to say it's my fault) Okay I know it was wrong on my part for not reading the terms and conditions but it was definitely intentional of the website to make it so misleading and that's really grinds my gears. They know that no one will read the terms and conditions so they intentionally not mention how after the free trial you'll just be automatically charged for a fucking membership nobody in the world wants. I just emailed the customer service personnel and I'm still burning from rage. I hope the boss of the company burns in hell for scamming all the unsuspecting customer like me. Burn in fucking hell dude. PLUS, guess what? I can't even unsubscribe because apparently they did not find my information in their database. Oh god I do not wish to be part of your database just return me my goddamn money omg. Hate scams like this I hope no one falls into this scam like me. Be warned guys, be warned and be careful.

On a sitenote, if you guys want to watch full movies for FREE like legitimately free, check out (megashare.info) I ended up watching warm bodies here. It's a good website and I haven't seen any bad "side effects" yet at the moment. Hope I won't get a bill later for this hahaha okay no I'm not really laughing I'm not even in the mood to laugh because I'm so mad. BURN IN HELL OWNER OF VIDZSTAR.COM

Update (20/08/2013)

Exams as well as the semester ends on Thursday so I'm so looking forward to it. I really really need to go back to work so I can earn money oh lord. The past four papers were manageable if not horrible. I think I might fail 1 out of the four but we'll see how it goes *crosses fingers* I really hope I'll get at least a B for all. Anyway, my brother just came back from a trip to US and he got me so many things yay I love my brother, thanks Nappy if you're reading this. I guess I'll show the items in a haul soon? This week's fresh paint is #OR201 달콤쌉쌀 자몽 from etude house. This means sweet grapefruit which i think is so apt for the color. Doesn't it just remind you of grapefruit?

The application was decent and it was opaque within 2 coats but I did 3 just to be safe. The webcam picture is not true to color so I'll upload a better quality one tomorrow. Anyone interested in getting this polish? I'm going to be giving away 3 brand new ones so just leave a comment if you want to win it! This is not a scam in case you think it is. Fangirl moment

I've always loved Korean music since I was a little girl, considering how I spent 4 years of my life there when I was little (my grandmother is korean). So when I was about 11, I fell in love with a girl group called Wonder Girls. I've loved them for years even when their popularity died down. Now that their leader is married & pregnant, I'm so excited. I honestly think I'm overly excited but she was always my favorite and I always thought that she was she pretty and talented. Happy Marriage Min Sun-Ye, I'm sure you'll be an amazing mommy. Check out this video by the way to see how awesome they are.

Best Birthday Ever

I had a really great celebration this year. I honestly think this is the best birthday I've ever had. Impromptu plans always turn out to be the best. I had three different celebrations.

On 15th May the day of my actual birthday, I met up with my old friends and had dinner. It was a simple but nice celebration. I felt really special and everything was just perfect.

On 17th May, I had dinner with my best friend. Once again, it was a very simple affair but it was a lot of fun, to me at least.

On 18th May, it was the best day ever. I met up with friends of work and 11 of us went for an impromptu karaoke session. Loved it and D gave me a really sweet and awesome card. I've so much love for him really. He is honestly the sweetest guy any girl could ask for.  I was a really happy birthday girl and I'm very thankful for the way my life is now. Thank you Lord for making me so happy this week. Cheers everyone!

MY BIRTHDAY.

It was my birthday yesterday and I had an awesome time. Thank you all who took time to spend it with me I really appreciate it.

Update 6/5/13

9 more days to my birthday and I'm really excited. I'll finally turn 17 so yay! I know I haven't posted in 1000 years but I've been so busy lately, honestly. I started school recently and the only thing I can say about it is that I absolutely hate it. I have no interest in what I'm studying at all which sucks because I'm not motivated to study at all. I know myself well enough to know that I won't do well at all. After much consideration, I finally mustered enough courage to switch course. I'm not sure if the school will validate it but I'm going to try anyway. Let's just see how things go from here alright? I'm really praying hard that they'll accept my transfer because currently I'm dreading school every single day. Sigh, I would honestly die if I continue staying in my current course. Dear lord, please allow my transfer to be successful, I beg of you. It'll be a great birthday present from you to me.


On another note, I feel nothing but disappointment from you D. I thought you were different from the rest but I guess I was wrong, right? The feeling I get form you when you're alone is so different from what I feel from you when you're with the rest. Why can't you just be yourself? Why do you feel the need to fit in? I like you just the way you are and it doesn't make sense that you're trying to change yourself to be like them. It's ridiculous and I don't like it at all. Let's see how things go from here ok. I can't give you my commitment if you can't show me your true self. Why are you hiding so many things from me? I really really like you though. No one has ever made me feel so special before. You're always telling me that I'm cute (which is something that's totally new to me) and telling me how happy you are to see me. Don't give me hope if you don't intend to do anything about it. Please go back to normal D, I know you're keeping something from me and I really need you to tell me what it is before I go mad.

In London, Boots had a lot of promotion on their cosmetics. A lot of the brands had the 3 for 2 promotion so I decided to take advantage of it.
