Haven't posted in such a long time. I'm been so busy with work & traveling omg. Painted my nails a few days ago with the Sally Hansen complete manicure nail polish in buttercup. I love yellow so I really love the color of this polish.
First time trying complete manicure line so here's what I think about it.
Pigmentation: The color pigmentation on this was pretty horrible in my opinion. However, I think it's because the color is so light because I've tried a different color after this and it was a lot better. Took me about 4 coats to get this color opacity. Crazy right?
Application: The application I did quite enjoy. The brush is really flat and nice which makes the painting quite easy and non streaky. The first two coats were streaky but after another two coats everything was good.
Wear: This is the outstanding part of the polish. It lasted so long on my nails it was crazy. I think it only started chipping on the 5th day of wear, no joke.
Price: At $8 this seems a bit much for a drugstore nail polish so I was quite hesitant about getting it.
Final verdict: I actually really like this line of polish. It dries relatively fast and the application is nice and smooth. The dark colors are a dear to work with but not so much for the lighter colors (same as all other brand of nail polishes). It stayed on for so long I was really impressed. For now I only have two colors but I definitely plan on purchasing more. That's pretty much all, I hope you this review was helpful in some way!
